For the people who still feel the need to try and make the CLoD out to be the worst thing to happen next to MS dropping FSX.

Look at this and then say how bad the sim is.:icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:


 
I haven't really followed the dev on this sim as since moving to Canada I have never seen a UBIsoft flying product on the shelves. I am a great fan of IL2 and wonder what is the alleged "bad" about this sim.

There are parts of the sim that has to be fixed. Like all sim's!

There are some people that are mad because thay can meet the min.OS with there PC but what the sim to run like thy have a high end PC.

And then you have the other sim dev that what you to believe the sim is just not playable unless you have a high end PC.
But there's is. LOL

There scared of this sim and thy should be. There is no other WWII flight sim that is as advanced as this sim.

The thing is if you do not want a WWII combat sim do not get this sim.

I only spent about 2 hours messing with it last weekend and got frustrated and gave up. Assigning controls to the X-52 with rudder pedals was horrible.

I am sure it would be a fun game if I am willing to invest the 10hrs to get everything set up properly, but I'm not very willing to do that. I also got Rise of Flight but find that game frustrating too.

Can't put my finger on what it is with these games but it is difficult to truely enjoy them. I think it is just the interface for the most part, they could learn a lot by spending some time playing FSX and MS could learn a lot from them about putting damage modeling into their Flight Sim.
 
Would it be possible to add sound files to this sim to make it more realistic with aircraft sounds and whistling of the bombs dropping and the sounds of the aircraft cannons and I'd especially like to hear those explosions.
I don't think I'd enjoy playing this sim with a music sound file. :icon_lol:
