• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

New fan here. I'd heard of them during the 80s and 90s, but wasn't paying attention. Watched a show on the Paladia Channel about them last year and was amazed, then downloaded all their stuff.
 
Passing abeam Hat Yai airport (VTSS). Last check point before our destination.
 
Down safe at WMKA. Somebody said there was a leaky Gee Bee and an abandoned S-43B, with free tools, gauges, and Celine Dion records. Looks like I got here too late.

Oh heck with it. I'm going to Singapore. Met a girl in Singapore once. She was really pretty. Anybody ever been to Singapore? Yeah, exactly... Maybe she's still there.
 
A beautiful early morning over the Malaysian peninsula. Last time we held this event, I landed at the wrong airport in the vicinity of Singapore. It's easy to do. I shall endeavor to pay attention this time.

A most enjoyable and exciting flight. Flew "nap-oh-the earth" for some time, dodging thunderstorms, rain showers, and tree covered hills. Got some video. Might post it if I get motivated.
 
Oops. Forgot to declare that I'm headed for Jakarta. I'll get some kodaks of what's left of Krakatoa.
 
There it is, Krakatoa. Only now I used up a lot of gas sight seeing. Down to a quarter tank over the Sunda Straight...
 
Made it to Jakarta on fumes! Ok, that's not true. Had a few gallons left. But it sounds exciting.
