F7F Tigercat SOH Project

F7F Tigercat SOH Project 2d panel fighter panel

Hallo friends,

the 2d panel for the fighter is in the final phase.
Some evolutions have ben done. Especially the big grey lever at the left side of the cockpit - it is the flaps lever and it
took some time to make it operational.
I hope to be able to release it at hte next week.

Thank you Milton for your kind comment.
It is your fine work to realize this plane that pushes me to try to do also a good work for the 2D panel.
Just did a gauge that simulates the drop of the fuselage tank. sadly I doesn't know how to integrate in this gauge that it sets the fuel of the aux tank to zero when the tank is dropped. Would be also a fine feature.
As I said in a message before I believe to publish this panel next week end - all the text must almost be done.
After that which one to do first, the nightfighter one or the modern variant?

F7F Tigercat SOH Project 2d-panels

Hallo Milton,

even that apart of you there are any reaction on my panels for the Tigercat I will
continue. Perhaps you will remark on the picture that the feet on the rudder pedals are not at the same level.
Yes I have now done and integrated an operational feet-legs-rudder-pedals gauge sothe feet will react on the rudder input.
Would you please have a closer lokk (or any one lese) if you can see things I could still improve ?

Papi, you have done very well with this 2D panel and the animated legs of course. It is obvious that one foot is forward and one is back in the coordinated turn.

I suspect that most people do not use 2D panels anymore, having moved on to strictly VC flying, and that's why there is less interest today in nice 2D panel work.

I like 2D panel flying in IMC when visibility is terrible. That way I can keep tabs on all my instruments without having to pan around searching for them. In IMC, especially in heavy winds and rain or fog, 2D is the only way for me.

But I suspect in am in a minority with you on this. :)

I like and use both VC and 2D panels, and I'm very pleased to have that beautiful 2D panel.

Thank you, Papi.

Hallo Milton,

thank you for your reply.
When I VC is well done I also like to fly with a VC.
But most the times a observed the frame rate going down with VC's.
Obviously on old pc's like mine a 2d panel "eats" less capacity than a VC.
Especially american users have more possibilities in having good pcs than we here in poor old europe.
Oh just question "hits" does this mean downloads or just clicked on?

Yours
Papi

I understand Papi; I use to be in the same position.

Hits means downloads. :)

What he said, and thank you, beautiful work.

Thanks to all involved infact. When I finally get settled into my new house and all set up I'm gonna love trying all these new masterpieces.

F7F Tigercat SOH Project Bad Kitty

Hallo Gaucho, hallo friends,

sie kommt aber noch viel Feinarbeit nötig.
She will come, but there is still a lot of fine tuning to do.
The biggest problem are the VCs for the pilot and the rear seat. I doesn`t know how to adopt the new panel to the original vc as the original is limited in the side size also I do not know how to make the rear cockpit transparent to have a look to the pilot.
And some other problems to fix. As my hollydays have an end on sunday - it will take more time to finish all. But I still work on them.
