This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of Maj. Donald J Strait's P-51D 44-15152 QI-T "Jersey Jerk". He flew with the 361st FS/356th FG from Martlesham Heath, UK. By the end of the war, Donald Strait had completed two combat tours, 122 missions in the P-47 and P-51, and racked up 13 ½ enemy aircraft kills, making him the top ace of the 356th. He retired from the Air Force as a Major General in 1978.
