• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

In this release the RPM has been adjusted slighly slower. The rpm3 has been brought down by 5% and the rpm2 by 7%. After a little testing I think this might be a little more accurate. There are so few 4360's flying that it's hard to tell. According to Math the freq at full power should be 1.55 times higher than a R2800. 28 cylinder vs 18 cylinder. For being such a monster it has a good growl.

There is no need to download original file. This is the whole thing.

From original release......

This is a sound file replacement set for the Wings of Silver Boeing 377 Stratocruiser by a2a simulations. These files were recorded from the 4360 powered Dreadnaught Seafury at Reno air races 2012. The sound files were then pitch shifted for proper RPM and filtered to simulate the more muffled sound of the exhaust system/turbo-setup on the Stratocruiser. These files are being released as open source you can modify them at your pleasing for your own projects as well. I would love a B-50, Hughes XF-11, Republic Xf-12, early C-119 etc. hint. lol. It should be good for any heavy type twin or four engine project.
