Akemi Aichi E13a1 Jake revised for CFS2 by UncleTgt
This is a revision of Akemi's Aichi E13a1 Jake for CFS 2. The model has ben tweaked with a blue/green glass colour & slight changes to sheen using MDLmat. Both glossy & dull mdls are supplied to better depict the polished alum & later painted finishes used by these aircraft.
A new airfile has been developed, & the dp file also has been developed with more visible damage effects, & reads in English instead of japanese. The textures have been redrawn, & depict a variety of aircraft at different times throughout their active service.
The textures supplied with the base aircraft are: ZI-26 from the seaplane carrier IJNS Kamikawa Maru, Malaya, December 1941. Pilot Eiichi Ogata. Believed to be involved in the first dogfight of the Pacific War.

242-1 from the cruiser IJNS Maya, Philippine Sea, June 1944
The 2D panel bitmap is new and has been made WIN 7+ friendly. It uses elements of Shina's E16A & D3A 2D panels as a starting point for an improved 2D panel bitmap. There is a customized fixed window downward view (recon?) to enjoy.
Sounds are not included. This is to keep the size of the download manageable. The sounds are aliased to the stock D3A1_Val.
The dp file makes use of kelticheart's exhaust effects.
The aircraft.cfg references one of Bill Kestell's excellent waterspray effects & this is included.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
