Lovely Lady's Avenger flew with the 466th BG out of Attlebridge, England. On 21 Jun 1944, the 1Lt Leo Mower crew managed to crash land at Bulltofta field in Malmo, Sweden with the Avenger. Severely shot up by flak, with two engines out of the left, all crew members were able to walk away from the wreckage and into internment.
