Taylorcraft Aeroplanes (England) Ltd built various aircraft based originally on the Taylorcraft model B. The Mk5 was first produced in 1943 for the Royal Air Force. This example is still flying regularly. Post war, Austers became a favourite amongst club fliers: many are still flying.
