Paints for Nigel's Avro Tutor.
These three paints are representative of RAuxAF squadrons in the pre-WW2 period.
2 silver ones cover 600 (City of London) Sqn , based at RAF Hendon @ 1931 and 1934 ; while the other is of 605 (County of Warwick) Bomber Sqn , based at RAF Castle Bromwich @ 1938. This latter one serial K3309 is the only one I've been able to research definitively, and the paint is based on description in a couple of books on 605 Sqn you can find on-line, and the accident report which describes a yellow trainer.
(Sadly K3309 was written off in a crash on 12 Dec 1939, while being flown from RAF Tangmere, having been 'borrowed' for a joyride by two members of 92 Sqn, also based at Tangmere at that time)
