This is a collection of repaints for the F4U1D Corsair made by Acwai for CFS 2. They depict aircraft used by the USMC.
The textures are:
94 Aircraft of VMF-124, flying off USS Essex during operations off Mindoro, Philippines, December 1944.
136 Aircraft of VMF-217, flying off USS Wasp during the Toyko raids, Japanese Home Islands, February 1945.
47 Aircraft of VMF-214, flying off USS Franklin during the strikes on the Japanese Home Islands, March 1945.
417 Aircraft of VMF-441, flying from Yontan, Okinawa during April 1945. Pilot was 1lt William W. Eldridge Jr.
559 An early F4U1D of VMF-312, flying from Kadena, Okinawa during April 1945. Pilot was Capt Daniel H. Johnson.
To create an early F4U1D, just copy the entire F4U1A "model.glossyWW2" folder & contents into your F4U1D aircraft & rename this folder "MODEL.erly_glossyWW2"
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
