• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Airspeed AS51 Horsa MkI Skinpack by UncleTgt

This is a collection of repaints for the Horsa MkI made by Baldy for CFS 2.

The textures are: DP716 Training Glider 5, UK circa February 1943.

HG752 Glider 133 Operation Ladbroke July 1943. Galpin's glider. The a/c serial number is a guess.

PW773 Glider 5 "Churchills Reply", Operation Mallard, June 6th 1944.

LF819 Glider 10 Operation Bluebird, South of France, August 1944. Unusual for it's MTO camouflaged upper surfaces.

LJ114 USAAF glider from D-Day June 6th 1944. This option retains the UK upper wing roundels.

LJ114 USAAF glider from D-Day June 6th 1944. This option overpaints the UK upper wing roundels.

I've also attached an updated airfile to try to model the maneuverability better, & model the tail upwards movement if you deploy the airbrake chutes.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to: Baldy for another unusual aircraft.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.
