This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-85-BO 43-38379 OR-O "Margie", which was assigned to the 323rd BS/ 91st BG, based in Bassingbourn, UK, on the 10th of September 1944. It was named after the wife, Marjorie McConnell, of the first pilot that it was assigned to, Lt. Cecil McConnel. Margie was home to several other crews and continued flying until the end of the war. She flew back to the US in late 1945, to be scrapped at Kingman, Arizona.
