• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

This Breguet XIV is the original work of Emmanuel Geffroy. I have tried several times over the past month to contact Emmanuel but have had no success.

The aircraft as modeled was an A2 variant, however I have given her a repaint inclusive of the visible features of the B2 variant. The primary difference, however was the engine upgrade. The B2 variant was given a Renault 12Fe rated at 300 HP which made no difference to the fuselage dimensions.

I have included the original texture folder.

The DP was altered to include bombs and racks by John Fortin. These can be found at the Freeflight site. The racks and bombs were placed by Roxane21. Thanks Roxane21!

The gun triggers have been altered so that the primary trigger fires the forward gun and the secondary trigger operates the rear guns.

The repaint represents Nr.4231 assigned to Captain Jean-Francois Jannekeyn. His gunner was Sous-Lt. Eugene Weismann. During August and September of 1918 this pair was credited with the destruction of 5 Fokker fighters. and a good deal of railway infrastructure.

Enjoy!
