A big thanks to Gordon "GMAN" Madison for allowing me to modify his 17191 texture for Martin Jahn's C117D "Super DC3" (needed) downloadable here. I found the photo looking for U.S. Navy C117Ds on the internet and was really fascinated with the tail artwork. I have also included a USN crew in sage green NOMEX flightsuit and a blue Carrier Ballcap our pilot wears from his last duty station aboard USS Coral Sea CVA-43. This is just my way of giving back a little for all the enjoyment here as well as the downloads from guys a whole lot more talented than I. (See if you can find the kitty cat painted on the original aircraft by the Copilot Lt Ron Whipple.) This aircraft was around for quite awhile but sadly like so many others is at Davis Monthan now.
