Messerschmitt Bf-109G-2/Trop of the 79th FG This is a repaint only for the Flight Replicas Bf-109G. This was an actual aircraft captured by the 79th FG in North Africa and used as a Squadron Hack. The variations in the RLM79 and the RLM65 are the overpainting of the German National Insignia with USAAF colors.The 79th Fighter Group was quite adept at painting 109's with some great colours and artistry. It would appear that fuselage art as opposed to nose art was the order of the day and this scheme is no exception. The colour call-outs are for the usual RLM79 uppers with RLM65 lowers. Install instructions are included in the .zip Thanks to Mike Cyul and all at Flight Replicas for a superb product and making this repaint possible.
