This repaint shows Shorts C-23C Sherpa 94-0601 in last U.S. Army painting. In fact, all C-23C had the fuselage/wings of a S360 with double vertical fins and rear cargo door of Shorts 330. So this repaint is fictitious.
The final flight of a U.S. Army C-23C 93-1330 - from Boston Logan via Manassas to Fort Sill - was 3rd January 2014. The aircraft joined numerous other examples in storage at Fort Sill, awaiting an unknown fate. Some US Army Sherpas survived until today. Some with the latest grey U.S. Army Sherpa paint scheme, but with civil registrations.
