Caudron G.3 scout/trainer, 1914
1914 military observation and trainer biplane by Caudron Frères.
This version is equipped with the cowled 80-hp Le Rhône 9-cylinder rotary engine, and has a top speed of 67 mph. It was reliable, maneuverable and pleasant to fly.
The crew were equipped with pistols, and the observer also had a rifle and could drop up to 4 hand-grenades. The aircraft was employed for artillery adjustment, pilot training and light ground attack.
The model gains if used in conjunction with the Tailgunner-2 add-on program, and this release is in French livery.
