This is a new model of the GM Martlet Mk. II (sto-wing) for CFS 2.
The Martlet II was the first Martlet actually ordered by the British Purchasing Commission for the FAA. The contract was for 100 F4F-4A equivalent aircraft with folding wings and 3 guns per wing with 240 rounds per gun. The first ten Mk. IIs were delivered to F4F-3 standards with fixed wings and 4 wing guns. This model depicts the folding wing aircraft. They were powered by a Pratt and Whitney R-1830-90 Twin Wasp single stage two speed supercharged radial. All had folding wings with 3 guns per wing and had 240 rounds per gun.
The textures supplied follow their history serving with the Fleet Air Arm:
"P" AJ104 888sqn FAA. Flown from HMS Formidable during the occupation of Diego Suarez, April 1942
"8N" AJ136 806sqn FAA. This aircraft known to have flown from Indomitable during Operation Pedestal, August 1942. Depicted in the operation-specific yellow ID markings.
"C o W" AJ121 881sqn FAA. This aircraft deployed on HMS Illustrious for the occupation of Madagascar, September 1942.
"O o 7K" AJ108 888sqn FAA. This aircraft operated from HMS Formidable during operation Torch, North Africa, November 1942
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

To install copy into your main Microsoft Games\Combat flight Simulator2\AIRCRAFT folder. Copy the gauges into the Combat flight simulator2\GAUGES folder. Copy the Objects_dp folder to the Combat flight simulator2\OBJECTS_DP folder. Copy the SCENEDB folder to the Combat flight simulator2\SCENEDB folder.
This file and all it contains is FREEWARE only and may not be posted on sites where a fee is required nor may it be included in any commercial package.
