Coast Guard Cutter Cobb (WPG-181)

This ship was the first helicopter carrier in the world. On June 29 1944 a HOS 1 made the first helicopter landing on a ship.

This model was created using two photographs and some bad line drawings as backgrounds - and only gives an idea of the ship. I decided to give it a try as I'd already had a go at the helicopters.

There is also a little mission for you to try your landing skills.
