This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-5-CO L "Suzy Q" of the 67th BS, 44th BG, based in Shipdham, UK. It was flown by Col. Leon Johnson to lead the 44th BG on the August 1st 1943 raid on Ploesti. The aircraft was lost on August 16, 1943 on a mission to Foggia, Italy, when it was intercepted by Me-109 fighters and was last seen burning on an Italian beach.
