This the specialist version of the RAF Coastal Command Catalina, fitted with sentimetric radar and a Leigh searchlight for night time patrols. An RAF Coastal Command Consolidated Catalina Mk. IVA for CFS2.

This model was fitted with ASV Mk. II and Mk. VIII radars and Leigh light. No machine guns were fitted as were not needed for night time patrols, reduced carrying of only four depth charges.
