• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

This file contain three sets with alternative textures for the A2A WOP II Curtiss P-40 (Non -Accusim version).

One set depicts a P-40 Tomahawk from 77th Pursuit Squadron 20th Pursuit Group based at Oakland Airfield - California, August 1941. The second set depicts a P40C of the 44th Pursuit Squadron based at Bellows Field in Hawaii at the time of the Japanese attack on 7 December 1941. This plane was severely damaged during the attack, and the third set depicts the P-40 Black 127 from the 33rd Fighter Squadron, Iceland 1942. This aircraft belonged to the USAAF unit which scored the first victory against a German aircraft. This aircraft was written off after it crash landed at Meeks Air Field, Iceland on 27 October 1942.

It shows the P-40 as it looked in different theaters of war and in different stages of weathering.
To use these textures you should have a legal copy of the A2A WOP II P-40 installed in FSX.

I want to thank A2A for creating this beautiful model and Martin "ICDP" Catney for the paint kit which was used to create this repaint. Martin Wright can't be thanked enough for his great graphic tools.

Enjoy
