This folder contains a repaint for version 3 of the Douglas C-117D Skytrooper by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of US Navy R4D-8 BuNo 12437. Originally built as C-47 42-23758, it became BuNo 12437 R4D-8 with the US Navy after the war. The paint shows it the way it looked while flying in Africa in the 1970's. Since 1981 it has been flying as N44GH, mainly in Texas, and it certificate of airworthiness was cancelled in 2017.
