This repaint is created for specific use with the Milton Shupe FSX Native Douglas A-20 Havoc. It represents Douglas A-20A Havoc 40-3153 "Yellow Fever" of the 89th Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bomb Group (Attack Group), 5th US Army Air Force, operating out of 3 Mile Drome near Port Moseby, New Guinea, winter 1943.

Yellow Fever met her end in February 1943, according to "Pacific Wrecks", when returning from a mission it ran out of fuel while waiting for weather to clear in order to get home. Her pilot, Lt. E.R. Richardson successfully crash landed her on a beach near a friendly village. The crew survived and lived to fight another day.
