Bombing Raid on El Aouina, Tunisia:
A simple, but historical mission. First escort combat operation for the 14th Fighter Group's P-38's.
Target: Six B-17Fs, 340th BS bombing run to El Aouina, Tunisia.
Accomplishments: Uneventful, but successful bombing run. More exciting days to come
