his is my representation of the F-94B-1-LO, 50-952, flown by Capt. Arthur Staniland. He was a pilot with the 57th FG, 66th FIS at Elmendorf AFB, AK. He was lost with his aircraft on 10/6/52.
I found out about Capt. Staniland from my wife as she was going through some old letters from her mother. Mrs. Staniland was one of her friends and wrote to her about moving back to Pittsburgh, PA after the loss of her husband. I felt it a fitting tribute to one who was lost in the defence of our country.
