• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Fleet 2_aircraft.zip 2024-05-28

No permission to download
Although this aircraft was made for Fs2002 it performs very well in Fs2004 with a minor change in the aircraft.cfg. I have included the Fs2002 file for those that wish to fly the plane in that sim. As well as the aircraft I have included some of Leon Louis's repaints including a silver scheme with metallised parts that do not bleach out in Fs2004. Many thanks to Steve and Leon for their permissions to upload. Roger (Fs admin) "The 1930 Fleet Model 2 by (well mostly, anyway) Steven D. Myers for MS Flight Simulator 2002 Pro smyers@email.arizona.edu This is a model of a two place, open cockpit biplane, the Fleet Model 2. Renown for its' rugged build and dependable disposition, the Fleet in all its' variations has been popular with the wind-in-your-face set for decades. A seperate Word doc is included, with the Fleets' history by Frederic Howard. It is my first upload of a complete aircraft to the FS community, so please bear with me. Bcause I'm especially fond of the immediate post-war era (the 40s and 50s), I like to think of my Fleet as having been bought and restored by an FBO after the war, and used for pleasure flying or maybe a training sesion or two, now and then. I'm flying in Bill Lyons' Classic Wings environment to enhance that impression, my own personal time machine, if you will. I also have New England landclass scenery installed. I think, though, that the model will fit almost any era."
