• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

This is a repaint of the Flight Replicas Piper L-4 in the colors of the US Army's 86th Division (Blackhawks) Artillery Air Section. I finally painted up the plane my father, 1st Lt. Joseph M. Bowers, flew in WWII. He was an liaison pilot (artillery spotter) for the 86th Infantry's Artillery Division. The 86th entered combat in Feb.1945 during the battle for central Germany, crossed the Rhine at Cologne, had advanced to Bavaria and was in Berchtesgaden on May 6. My father was awarded the Air Medal for his wartime missions flying over the retreating German army while artillery spotting. I still have a section of fabric covering from this plane - with two bullet holes.

Repaint textures only. You will need the Flight Replicas 'Piper L-4 Grasshopper AGF' installed to utilize this repaint.
