Fokker D.VII Willi Gabriel

Fokker D.VII Willi Gabriel Ver 1.1

No permission to download
This package contains a two repaints for the FS2004 model of the Fokker D.VII by Stuart Green. The repaints shows the aircraft flown by Vizefeldwebel Willi Gabriel in two slightly different liveries.

To use these repaints you must have the Fokker D.VII by Stuart Green. This model can be found here: https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/resources/sg_fokker_dvii-zip.15011/ .

Similar textures were tested at the CFS2 conversion of this model by Martin Klein. But sadly the textures don’t work at the converted model as there is a conflict which makes parts of the model transparent. Martin found out that the textures can be used once they are converted in dtx1 format, however this makes the textures less sharp.

The reason this repaint was done is because Willi Gabriel was Michael "Papi"Vader's father's flight instructor. So I want to thank Michael for the inspiration. I also want to thank Stuart Green for this beautiful and timeless model and making it available for us less talented. And finally I want to thank Martin Wright for his graphic tools which were used intensively to convert these textures into something usable.

Enjoy,
Huub Vink
