• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

This is a CFS3 mod package that was originally posted on the Netwings site. They were intended for stock CFS3 and/or CFS3 with Firepower ONLY.
Nothing has been modified in any way and it is still in it's original *.zip file. Here is the README for full acknowledgement:

Supadetail! Replacement German medals for CFS3, release 1.0
Place these images into the medals folder and you'll get accurate representations of the medals featured in CFS3. If you installed to the default location this would be:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3\uires\medals

A few notes:
Note the 'Knights Cross with Oak Leaves' wasn't really a cross, but rather just the oakleaves. I've shown it as in the sim however attached to its own cross.
All of these medals bears a swastika, as each is based on a photograph of real medals which bore these marks. The existence of these marks in no way implies that I in any way condone the actions of the National Socialist Party or any other organisation which uses this emblem. If you do not understand why this statement is here then you are advised to visit the following website:
http://motlc.wiesenthal.com/
An alternative version of the German Cross is available without the swastika should you wish to use it, giving you the full range of medals within CFS3 without the swastikas.
