This is a repaint only for the payware Aircraft Factory F4U-1 Corsair. This repaint depicts Goodyear FG-1D Corsair BuNo 92106, as it was when owned by Gary Kohs following the completion of restoration to award-winning factory-fresh specifications in 2003, registered as N106FG. Just as they were when leaving the factory in 1945, the aircraft is finished in all of the correct/authentic colors, size and placement of factory markings, numerous authentic stencils, authentically painted engine, landing gear, and gear wells, and more. Today, this aircraft is owned and operated by Vintage Wings of Canada and has been placed in Robert Hampton Gray markings. This repaint is based off of the product paint kit, but also includes numerous other texture modifications throughout.
