This is a repaint for the JBK Vickers Viscount 700 series model of the McRobertson Miller Airlines Viscount VH-RMQ.
RMQ was originally imported by TAA and then several years later leased to Ansett Airlines who in turn leased it to McRobertson Miller Airlines based out of Perth in Western Australia. The aircraft sadly crashed with the loss of all lives whiles on descent into Port Hedland WA on a flight from Perth. A wind separated from the aircraft in flight. The crash investigation and subsequent inquiry involved ground breaking analysis and study of metal fatigue in aircraft world wide.
With respect to the crew and passengers who lost their lives on New Years Eve 1968.
