Once the largest F-102 Base in the country, North Texas Regional, located 75 miles north of Dallas, Texas and about 10 miles south of the Oklahoma border is home to several local Government offices, various classrooms for Grayson County College, a Fire Fighters School, a Flight School and the seemingly permanent home for the US National Aerobatics Championships held in late September each year.
Of course there are plenty of air operations each day with the local Flight School and corporate aircraft that come and go, as well as the normal GA activity from surrounding airports and those based at NTRA.
