My first version of the LPD Galicia was uploaded here in 2014, and although she had 725 downloads, I had some concerns about the quality of the design. Now I have redone it, adding her sister ship L52 Castilla, a slightly different ship of the same class, both serving now in the Spanish navy.
The vessel was built at the Empresa Nacional Bazán shipyards in Ferrol, fruit of NATO collaboration between the Dutch and Spanish Royal Navies.
She can carry up to 4 Sea King heavy helicopters or 6 NH 90 medium helicopters, 400 marines, 4 heavy landing crafts, and up to 170 infantry vehicles.
The package contains two versions of each ship, one with one NH90 helicopter on the first deck, and another with a clean deck.
