This package contains alternative textures for the CFS2 Mig-3 late version by Captain Kurt. The textures depict the aircraft “Za Partii Bolshevikov” (For the Bolshevik Party) as flown summer 1942 in the Moscow area. The red arrows at the bonnet indicate the aircraft originally belonged to 172 IAP before they were handed over to 122 IAP.
Among other places, this model can be found in the CFS2 section from the Sim-Outhouse library. These textures will work in CFS2 but also in FS2004. The textures and basic paintkit I made to create them, are loosely based on the default textures done by UncleTgt. Although the model is designed for CFS2 it works flawless in FS2004 as well.
I want to thank Captain Kurt for this excellent model and UncleTgt for his very nice textures, which were a great start to work from.
And special thanks to Martin Wright as without his great simple to use graphic tools this repaint would not exist.
