This repaint represents McDonnell Douglas F-4J (153880) of VMFAT-201 Hawks as photographed on the transient ramp at Dobbins AFB in summer 1973. VMFAT-201 was established in 1968 as an F-4 training squadron and was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point during its entire existence. VMFAT-201 was absorbed by VMFAT-101 in July 1974. 3880 was upgraded to "S" standard in 1980 and continued to serve with VF-121 and 151, until retired in 1986. Model and Paint kit by MilViz.
