Overview History
The first six Essex class entered service in measure 21 scheme for protection against Japanese aircraft:
overall navy blue painted over in September 1944 in dazzle camouflage measure32 for anti-submarine camouflage.
Essex in design 6-10 light gray and dull black.
Yorktown II in design 9-A Navy blue ocean gray and pale gray.
new dp for smokestack_s and fx_ bow_s
and new ship-Cat for catapult use
