Republic P-47D-30-RE H5-W "Just Bess" was assigned to Lt Arnold Abel of the 392nd FS, based in Eschborn (Y-74), Germany, May 1945. The aircraft was destroyed in a landing accident while being flown by another pilot. Lt Abel later received another, similarly coded aircraft. He finished the war with two kills. Repaint for the Shockwave WoP P-47D by Jan Kees Blom, based on bare metal textures by John Terrell.
