Republic P-47-D-27-RE #42-27275 was the aircraft of the Operations Officer of the 493rd FS, Lt.Col. Royal "King" Baker. He scored three kills flying Spitfires and half a Me-109 flying this P-47 during WWII, but added another 13 flying F-86's in Korea. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom based on blank textures by John Terrell.
