The 303rd Squadron was one of the squadrons formed in 1940, using Polish Pilots. Kosciuszko Squadron is famous for claiming the highest number of enemy kills during the Battle of Britain of all fighter squadrons then in operation through September to October 1940. By the end of the war, they were flying Mustang IV's. The aircraft sweetened a little bit pilots? frustration with the lack of action. Despite making several sweeps over the Germany, no opposition was encountered. This aircraft was assigned to Squadron leader Boleslav 'Gandhi' Drobrinski. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII MUstang by Jan Kees Blom, based on a paintkit by John Terrell.
