This pack contains 2 repaints of Thicko's Hurricanes which represent aircraft of the South African Air Force. The first is a Hurricane MkI Trop of 3 Sqn, SAAF, operating in Abyssinia in mid-1940. 3 Sqn also saw action against Italian forces during the East African campaign in Somaliland and Eritrea. The second aircraft is HV498, A MkIIb of 41 Sqn SAAF, operational in East Africa in late 1942. The SAAF used standard RAF markings, but replaced the red areas with SAAF orange.
