a C47A-30-DK at the Douglas Oklahoma City plant in July 1944 and was delivered to the RAAF as A65-57 in August 1944 with use granted to Qantas Empire Airways Limited and first entering the AAR in December 1946 as VH-EAO and again in January 1964 as VH-EDD and operated for pilot training and freight.
