This repaint is for the new payware RealAir Spitfire Mk IX for FSX and represents Spitfire Mk IXe "White 17" s/n 2018 of the Israeli Air Force in 1949. It was among the aircraft flown by Ezer Weizman, who later became President of Israel. There are several photographs of this aircraft escorting Israeli B-17 bombers during missions over Egypt. Repaint by Barry Vandenakker based on the great paintkit and textures by RealAir and Sean Moloney.
