Overview History Discussion
On D-Day the "Wiskey 7" led the 2nd Wave of the Airborne invasion, (Serial 18) Mission Boston, dropping Troopers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne on DZ "O" near St Mere Eglise. The 43-30652 / W7 R returned to the same Drop Zone later that day to air-drop supplies to the troops it dropped earlier.
