Overview History Discussion
This scenery and traffic depict Ramstein AB as it was from 1957 through 1962 or so. This scenery includes both traffic and over 70 custom buildings and objects by Kalle Busse as custom paints for the actual squadrons present during this period. We have done are best to bring you a period rendition of Ramstein as it was during this period of the early Cold War. Some guess work was involved as finding period photos of the entire base was difficult. Aircraft types and counts we believe are reasonably accurate.
