This is a repaint (textures only) for the (Payware)by Alphasim, Consolidated B-24D. This repaint was made with an all new paint kit by Gary Horton and myself. This texture represents a Consolidated B-24D Liberator S/N 42-40387. 5th AF, 380th BG, 528th BombSquadron, nicknamed "Beautiful Betsy". Beautiful Betsy went missing 26 Feb 45 on a flight from Fenton to Eagle Farm Airfield, Australia. The wreckage was found in Kroombit Tops National Park, Australia 2 Aug 1994, along with the remains of the 9 aboard. Information from www.b24bestweb.com.
