This is a USN representation of the Stock/Overhauled Grumman F4F Wildcat. The aircraft is a USMC Wildcat of VMO-155, operating from the USS Nassau (CVE16) during the Battle of Attu in May, 1943. The skin is by Sopwith Chameleon. The files are being uploaded to SOH for preservation, with his permission.
