P-400 Airacobra PNG skinpack by UncleTgt
This is a simple reworking of Sopwith Chameleon's PNG P-400 repaint for use with Allen's recently reworked OH P-39 Airacobra for CFS 2.
These two repaints depict the same aircraft at different times during it's operational life fighting the Japanese in Papua New Guinea during 1942-43.
All I've done is:
correct wing leading edge numbers (these are reversed in SC's original paint)
generally tone down the colours
Add a modified Kelti style prop transparency
Add "bell green" cockpit interiors & bitmaps (-X, _z), to make compatible with Allen's reworked cockpit interior, as per his instructions.
Created a new skin to represent this aircraft in a later guise, with 8 Fighter Group, JAN '43.
The aircraft represent:
P-400 39th FS, 35th FG Port Moresby PNG, June '42
P-400 Lt Norb Ruff, 80th FS, 8th FG, Milne Bay PNG Oct'42
The B24 guy issued a fix for Allen's model that corrected occasional intermittent LOD texture display issues with this a/c. For completeness I have included his fixed model.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary folder. Use as replacement textures with the relevant P39 model as appropriate.
