CFS2 Aircraft Hawker Sea Fury FB11

This file is best read in Notepad with wordwrap turned on.
The plane is a Hawker Sea Fury FB11 in Royal Navy livery.
This is a FSDS V2 model for CFS2. It features folding wings, opening cockpit canopy and other moving parts. It is not multi-res. Aircraft and panel by David Hanvey. Textures by Paul Barry. Airfile by Jerry Beckwith.

History

We (David Hanvey and Paul Barry) started to work on the Sea Fury some months ago. Versions are being released for both FS2002 and CFS2. After some abortive work on our part, we were delighted when Jerry Beckwith (www.mudpond.us) offered to provide his excellent airfiles for both versions.
Most of the gauges used are standard CFS2 plus some freeware add-ons. Not sure who provided these additional add-ons originally (too many downloads installed/deleted). Our apologies for not giving specific credit.
The DP provided calls up rockets and pylons from the Enhanced U.S. weapons addon for CFS2 by Sergio Dolcemascolo.
Installation
------------
Unzip first to a temporary directory.
Backup your existing gunsight64.bmp file that is in the main CFS2 TEXTURE folder. A smaller gunsight is provided which is a better fit for the 2D panel.
Move/copy the contents of the following folders to the corresponding folders in your CFS2 directory:
AIRCRAFT
GAUGES
OBJECTS DP
SCENEDB
TEXTURE
We do not expect that you will be asked to overwrite any files. However, if you are asked
then just say no!
Sound is aliased to the F4U Corsair.
You also have the option to add a new startup smoke effect. A new file is included in the 'smoke' folder. IMPORTANT: Before installing, make a back-up copy of your current fx_engstrt.fx file which is in the CFS2 EFFECTS folder. Then copy the fx_engstrt.fx file supplied in this package to the CFS2 EFFECTS folder.
NOTE: The new fx_engstrt.fx only really works for this Sea Fury, so if you select any other aircraft re-install your original .fx file.
Now just load up FS and fly!
