Repaint of the stock/OH TBD-1 Devastator. TBD-1 Devastator from VT-2 (Torpedo Squadron) of the USS Lexington (CV-2) in 1942. In 2018 Paul G. Allen and his research team photographed this Devastator on the sea floor in surprisingly well shape along with other aircraft from the Lexington.
In 2023 there has been a recovery proposal to bring up aircraft from the Lexington including a TBD Devastator.
